Caviar Anyone?

Recommended Posts

So this morning I noticed my moor and my lionhead really bumping into my comet. As I looked closer you guessed it EGGS!!! and lots of them. I tried to get as many as I could off of the bottom but it is proving easier said than done since they are sticky. Any suggestions? I pulled out a piece of driftwood covered with them and set it up in a fry tank. Im off to buy my sponge filter now. I think i pretty much have everything at the house except for that. I cant wait to see what this cross breeding is going to produce if I can get them to adulthood. Ill post my pics when they hatch. And even more exciting.....as soon as they hatch Ill get my first ribbon!

Leave them a couple of days and they'll get much less sticky and should roll off easily. In the meantime just shove them in the fry tank and look out for little eyes in those eggs! :) Good luck!

Sounds fun! I've heard users having luck collecting eggs with a turkey baster.
