Lavender Tele Fry

Recommended Posts

Added some pics taken today. They are 1 week old and doing good. Had to move them out of the 2 gallon. Poor little mites were cold I think as they were all huddled at the top near the light. Have them in a 10 gal now with sponge filter and a heater. Took the move pretty good. They are much happier and active. Seem to be eating well.

Isn't it amazing that inside those teeny, tiny living creatures are living animals with organs and veins and everything else? All in those little packages? Miraculous, you know.

Aww they are so little. I remember when those first fry you had were born and they looked sooo tiny and I thought "they will never be big goldies" and now they all look so big and perfect... These guys are gonna be so cute. : )

Thanks all! They actually are getting easier to see so must be growing. I'm also noticing they are colored different than the Skye/Black Velvet ones were. These seem to be more white and no spots that I can see. Depending on how many survive it will be a few months before they are old enough to be going anywhere, lol. And it's way too early to tell if any of them are going to amount to anything. Not to mention I have no clue on how to ship fish properly. But that is all a ways off so am just concentrating on their day to day care for now.

Thanks everybody! It is fun watching them grow. They are already getting easier to see when swimming around and/or eating.
