lol How big are they Smack? I've red that long snouted horseface loach don't like didn't in the substrate that much than the bent snouted ones...

the one, medusa, is about 4, maybe 5 inches long now, and typhon, the other one, is a bit smaller.

i never knew there were 2 different kinds, these guys must be the ones that like the substrate, since they chill under it all the time :)

I believe its something like 1000 gallons each. This is why koi can't be kept in aquariums. It doesn't seem like that much when you actually see them in a pond :)

Its so funny. Every once in awhile I will see a snail go shooting across the tank in the filter current, little tenticles waving around until he grabs hold of something.

And they all made it! Ten days in the mail and no deaths.

Thanks guys, but unfortunately they're loosing their color. :(

But thats ok, I'm working up a diet of color-enhancing stuff, like spirulina and Hikari color enhancing food, etc. I've been on the lookout for food that will keep them bright orange.

Although they're such a nice, silvery white, it'll be ok if they're all white too. :)
