Taking Out Plants,

Recommended Posts

I have so many plants rammed into that half filled 10 gal. I still see a few eggs stuck on them.

Should I remove those eggs?

When can I take the plants out? Would that harm the fry?

I will leave some plants, but there are sooo many in there it's jam packed. And the 44 gal looks very bare without any plants in it.... :rofl

If you can I would just cut the leafs were the eggs are or the part of the plant if you can were the eggs are and leave those in the tank. Then place the plants that there isnt any eggs on into the main tank agian :D

Good idea Koko!

Do you think that those eggs might hatch still. There are a few left...this is "day 3" from when I found them =o)

Slippery thank you for your help. I capatalized letters above so you wouldn't miss them, I just reread that, and I wanted to point out I wasn't yelling LOL I am just excited!!!!!!

Nope I couldn't see anything. Just a solid white blob. I thought that they were unfertilized, then I noticed that they were almost all gone! The eggs I mean. And then I saw little things swimming around LOL!

Thanks to you too Koko.

I will wait a few more days!

i know how you feel

sometimes i can laugh by myself( a bit crazy) and at those fishies

the time i had my first batch

i was so excited, punching the air and yelling

my parents said those white little balls werent eggs

when they hatched i was like i told you so

it was so exciting because i didnt know what a fry looked like

sought of like alien species and i thought that they

would never turn out to look like goldies

guess i was wrong

when there a few months you can see everything in their body

its very funny :P

they sure are delicate at that stage

i know i lost a few just trying to clean out tank

better not use a net at this stage

you might infict some injuries

there also very vulnerable to diseases

out of my first batch all died except two

so keep an eye out for that

i think theres some suppose to be

some curse or something between 2-3 months

where frys mysteriously die

sorry if i frightened you

besides this

goldies rock :pp

especially when you watch them grow from an egg to a

gold goldy

take a look at my two yr old
