Freeze-dried Food Cubes

Recommended Posts

I got some freeze dried cubes of Tubifex the other day and I know that you can stick them to the glass. I tried it today and it stayed for a few seconds before starting to float.

Any hints or tips, oh knowledgeable ones?!

Knowledgeable tips, hm? :D How about this one - I don't get them to stick for too long either, so I just soak and smush them in a separate container and drop them in the tank.... They don't hold very long on the glass because our houngry monsters start to rip on them like crazy, and not even superglue would help there!

I just let mine float around on the top. I give about 4 at a time and watch

the frenzy begin. Lots of sucking noises and water splashing.

they dont seem to saok either. i leave them for 15 mins and they are still solid. why do they make these things water proof??? anyone else have this problem? how did you combat it?

I tear mine up into small chunks and soak them. They seem to absorb water better when they're torn up.

My goldies love them :bounce

Hmmm - I have not tried feeding tubifex before. Maybe that is something I should try.
