Recommended Posts

What is this?

I'm going to isolate my fish in my 10 gallon right now, hopefully someone can tell me.

Oh crap.

The thing's gone before I could take the fish out.

There's a line coming out of my fish's rear though, half white half pink.

I've been wondering why my fish had been laying at the bottom for so long today.

What do I do?

Do I have to change the water of my 30 gallon?

I think it might be poop. Im not sure so you should read up on the boards about diseases and parisites and stuff like that.

First you have to make sure its a worm and not a stressed or sick fish with weird poo. Did you see it move at all?

If you could also tell us the answers to the box at the top of the forum this will help reach a diagnosis for you.

Camallanus is the most common type of worm to hit fish and heres a link to it http://members.optushome.com.au/chelmon/Worms.htm

try google for some images to see if its close.

The box of questions is actually found in the Disease and Diagnosis forum, not the goldfish discussion forum... I think this thread should maybe be moved, or restarted in the D&D forum... -Any mods out there??
