I am a goldfish keeper!

I am a wife, 3 people call me Mom! And 2 people could call me Grandma.....if they were old enough to call me something!!

I started keeping goldfish to be able to relax and watch them swim around. Most of the time I am either cleaning or trying to figure out what else I can do for them!! I often forget to just watch them and relax. I will try harder!

Right now I have the following fishies:

Big Boy Red Oranda

Sash Red & White Ryukin

Willy Red Fantail

Nilly Red Fantail

Stubbie Red, White & Black Ryukin

Spot Common Goldfish (ex-feeder)

Busy, & 2 unnamed Albino Corycats

I know some stuff, but need to know alot more!

Ahh, 2 grandbabies and 9 fish babies to spoil. How do you ever divide the lovin'?

I believe if my mother had to divide her spoilin' between anyone other than my daughter she'd be bankrupt and in the hospital for exhaustion.

WOW, the only goldfish I have kept the whole time is Spot, he's a big white Comet. That is some sort of testiment to a regular NORMAL goldfish, I think!! Having said that I LOVE FANCIES so here's the rest of THE GANG now:

Ozzie: Black Moor 4/11

Fringe:White Oranda w/yellow wen & black tips on fins 5/11

Walter: Chocolate Oranda 5/11

Tigger: Red Oranda 5/11

Zoey: Blue Oranda 5/11

I scooped Spot out of my daughters TIGER BARB tank in '04!! I put him in a small bucket & I could hear him THUMPING into the sides all the way home. He was all white with an orange spot (hence his name) which is long gone. I have often thought of rehoming him to a pond but I am too selfish....I love him & I think he will remain with me for the rest of his life!!! I have begun to think that he may have lost his sight or at best can no longer see very well because when I drop food he often misses it. BUT he is able to find it by foraging around.
