6 year old goldfish w/ popeye and worms?

Recommended Posts

My fish has had popeye for awhile and I’ve been doing salt treatments. It seems to be going down. I cleaned the tank the other day and noticed some worm things today with white fuzz on some of the aquarium ornaments. Could somebody tell me more about what this is? The worms seem to be short but thicker and are an off white colour there are also some small off white balls.

Thank you!

The white fuzz is likely biofilm, which is very normal. But we really need pictures and the entire form filled out to give us details enough to tell what else is going on in the tank and with the animal, including history and any new additions to the tank in the last few months.
