Columnaris or fungal problem?

Recommended Posts

I need help identifying the problem to properly treat it. Here’s a picture. It’s not flat nor completely fuzzy. I thought it was fungal so I started using pimafix but now I’m afraid it could be columnaris because of the appearance of the saddleback patch

I'm still working on answering the list. Just thought to show the video first meanwhile. Thanks

thank you. does this fish usually remain pinned to the surface of the water? looks to me that the exposed parts is where the problem is. it also looks like the left side of body, the scales might be starting to lift.

We would need more information to help - definitely answer the questionnaire and Helen’s question.  Particularly - how long have all livestock been in the tank?  If nobody new has come in during the last three months it wouldn’t be columnaris :)
