Guest Kinguio Posted May 16, 2004 Hi, I am from Brazil. I belive that you have a lot of golfishes in Sigapor? Did not you? What city do you live?
fi5hkiller Posted May 17, 2004 hmm, Singapore is not that big to have different city.. but basically we are divided into the North South East West Region and even our MRT (MTR in Lodon) is taking that as our standard region classification.. Well, I live in the East.. indeed, there are many goldfish keeper in Singapore.. and sadly many seller are not good in keeping the goldfish well.. those seller who keep goldfish well usually charge high for their fishes.. anyway, their fishes are really high in quality.. but I can't afford to pay 500 - 1000 jus for a goldfish.. Guest KaiSuki Posted June 5, 2004 Hey Hey~ I am from Singapore too~ but currently studying in Aussie lands... Keeping goldfish as company .... hoping to find some way of shipping them back before I graduate...they are my "family" here.... Hey fi5hkiller... got any suggestions?? U guys are talking about SINGLISH... the local language ending with lars and lors...missing Singapore food terribly....
fi5hkiller Posted June 5, 2004 Hi there, which part of Aussie are you studying in?? When are you graduating?? Frankly Speaking, I dun have any experience in shipping fishes... As the import of live animals is subject to import control by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore, you would need to check with them on their requirements at http://www.ava.gov.sg. next you also need to find out more on how to package your fishes for the transition.. Some people here have done it and probably you would want to check out their dicussion on packaging fishes..

mailboxck Posted June 10, 2004 I've heard that some serious hobbist there buy their goldfish and lets a breeder take care of it? Is it true?
Guest KaiSuki Posted June 10, 2004 where are u talking about? Singapore or Melbourne??? Not too sure about Singapore... But in Melbourne, while I am away, I have some professional caretakers (an elderly couple who set up a place to look after all types of pets...l) to look after my fishes... they took very good care of my fishes as they love all types of animals... it's about 10 dollars a week for all my gfs... Going back to S'pore for the sch break so leaving my gfs in good hands
