Thanks a ton, Mandy. I think Mr. Rustic is a Comet, though... Not a common. I could be wrong though.

And here is Mr. Rustic today. He's only gained a little length since then, but he's gained some bulk, too. He's the king of the pond for sure. How color is still trying to come through from the pale orange he had after the rust went away. I still like his name and won't be changing it.

Rustic is getting to be a big fella. I have to spread my fingers out wider to hold him like this lol. He's the king. Tough boy. Fast too. Still the hardest to catch though the biggest.

And here is Mr. Rustic today. Yes had a growth spurt and his color has begun to look like Miss Shrimp. He's the king of the pond.

Yes he's turning into a big boy. He's out growing the little porch pond unfortunately. He really wasn't meant to stay here but as you all know, I no longer have a larger pond. I may have to put him down if he out grows it. After my fish passed weird diseases to Taryl and I lost so many... No fish with possible exposure will be rehomed. It isn't responsible or ethical.

We have decided to upgrade. I don't want to harm my smelly Comets. Not sure exactly when but we definitely are going to do it. I also want a calico. I miss my calico fish.

Only a small upgrade. We are thinking about 150 gallons. But that's enough space for these and perhaps one more. I really don't want COMETS taking up valuable fancy space but I already have them and so I feel like I should do right by them, too. All fish need love and good homes.
