Thanks Koko! I'm interested to see how the ones that are in the pond and get very little attention in the way of feeding (since there is so much natural food out there) go compared to the ones inside. Though the double tails will go outside eventually too

Im thinking the ones outside will double in size faster than the inside ones :) Just my thoughts and can't wait to see :)

Haha I already have two ponds set up now :rofl I don't even know how I managed to get away with that

It will probably end up been a storage tub.

Ok so update time!

I have 5 double tails inside still. They are doing well but growing slowly. I want to get them out, but want to keep them separate from the single tails so still trying to organize that

They are all inside for a few days while I rid their pond of dragonflies and dragonfly proof it. There were 31 left outside. A couple are really small and I think they hitched a ride as eggs when I moved some plants into their pond from the big pond.

So cute. I got some feeder fish late October to do an experiment with. I actually became quite attached to this little one. His name is Shrimp. He's grown in the month or so I've had him. I think I will keep him. I think he's got something wonky with him because he's always been too fat for a little Comet.

And here is Shrimp today. Lol he can grow up with your little babies. He's still so weirdly fat. Excuse Josla down there photobombing.

I ended up just moving the double tails into the small pond with the single tails. I think they will do a lot better out there.

Here are some photos from before they went in, I also scooped a couple of the single tails in there as well to get photos of them

@koko There's 5 now. I did start with 11 but a few of them didn't make it past the early stages :(

That big single tail will grow up to be a beautiful fish. I can see potential in him.
