I'm so careful not to feed mine much. Everyone keeps saying that my compact fish like my Ryukins and Citrine will end up all swim bladder if I feed them a lot or try to grow them fast.

Ah gotcha. I break my feedings up into little portions depending on water temperature. I have over 20 fish now (shocking) and some of them are beginning to get bigger and I run through food like nobody's business.

Yea I go food like crazy too lol. I bought the huge tub of NLS last time I had the spare cash (since that spare cash thing doesnt happen often) so it would keep me going for a little.

I have a hard time with more delicate plants. Anubias, ferns and such no problem. In fact my Moss Balls have gotten bigger, never had that happen before :o

I killed Java Ferns and Anacharis. Never tried anubias. The fish ate water sprite and stuff.

The only plants I can keep alive are Anubias and Java Fern. I even kill duckweed and frogbit.

Though my betta tank has a few different plants in them and they've been in there for almost two weeks now and they are still alive so far :rofl
