Another "CLEANING" Question!!

4 posts in this topic

I bought my 90 gal tank years ago & I have no idea how old it was when I got it....probably pretty old.  It doesn't have any problems...I just do not want to cause any...HERE's THE ISSUE:

It has rubber sealant inside each corner (pretty sure it must have come that way it looks original) but algae spots have accumulated all up & down the sealant. I want to get it clean....if possible....but I don't want to damage the seal at all. I tried a round brush I use to clean the tubing on my filters but decided I want to toss this to the EXPERTS first!!

I'm sure it's nothing more that a tad unsightly....but I can live with it.

Thanks! Worked great!

I did a REALLY big water change & was able to scrub it with vinegar & my trusty "Fish Only" toothbrush! (IS there ANYTHING vinegar CAN'T do?) And it worked great!!!
