I recall reading someone had turned an aquatic plant into a veggie smoothy but forget which plant, if it was duckweed you could hype it up as the next big diet crazy, make a pretty penny and get ti out of the lake!

I have to struggle every summer to keep it alive.  Sometimes just enough survives that I can grow it during the winter, but sometimes I have to buy more.

Wowser! I just got a baggy in the mail last week, not that you could send any to me in Aust but I paid $5 for a 10x7cm bag which I though was ok ?

Maybe 1% of it. Wonder if it will die in the bucket all day? I'm getting 2 more buckets worth before I leave tonight to see if that does better.

You might want to fill the buckets with water (no chlorine) overnight.  You can drain them before you leave.
