I'd seen a story about those a few months back - soooo cute!

I got a single goldfish tea bag for Christmas, & finally tried it - pretty good tea, clever design, & I had fun taking pics! :)

The single tea bag came wrapped in striped tissue paper (from an Etsy seller):

Fishy is finally free! There are little holes for the eyes & mouth, so a few tea particles came out.

Dropped the tea bag in a mug of hot water....

Ready to drink!

Now for a glamour shot...

And a close up:

Now tea bag fishy is set to one side to dry:

A little judicious use of glitter & Sharpie, & I'll have a new Christmas ornament! :)

With shipping, it was $18. So, a whole box of a dozen is much cheaper per bag, but I only really wanted the one bag just so I could see one in person & try it. I guess if someone got a whole box, & sold a few single bags, they could get their own tea free & be able to give or sell some to their friends!

Me, too, Koko.  It looks so much like a fish that I would have trouble drinking "fish water" particularly brown fish water.

I think it helps that it doesn't smell like fish water, though! :) The tea is actually quite nice, beyond the novelty aspect.

I've been meaning to get some of these!

There are some other interesting tea bags too. I've seen dinosaur ones in the shops and my best friend gave me some that open up into different sorts of flowers. :)

I've always wanted to try one of those - Thought about having a goldfish themed wedding (it'll be in a Japanese Garden, so why not?) and getting these for guests.  Then I saw the price! haha.

Thought you guys might like to look Blooming Tea up as well.  It's not fish related, but it's neat :)
