Eggs Again!

Recommended Posts

It looks like they are growing well!  I think being fed 2-3 times per day with brine shrimp lasting a few hours is great!  And it's nearly impossible to not get some unhatched eggs in there . . .

That is a lot of fry.  :thud

Here are some pictures I took yesterday...12 days old.

I've only lost a couple so far so still over 200. I'm hoping to get another big tub and tomorrow so I can split them up and give them more space. I'm now spending more time looking at them for deformaties to start culling (The part I don't like!!!)

I don't think they look too thin, at all.  Nice, gently rounded tummies obviously full of BBS.  Looking good!

Can't wait to see these fry develop -- pearlie/tele crosses are often ridiculously cute!

So I was going to split them into two tubs today but due to some unforeseen family circumstances that hasn't happened...But hopefully tomorrow!!

I've taken more photos too! 15 days old so they have reached the two week mark :D

Three weeks old now :)

Video from Today - 22 Days old

Culled 9 yesterday and I've lost a few that died naturally but I'm not sure how many. I'd say I'm at about the 170-180 mark now but hopefully will be able to get a proper count soon.

I feed them hikari first bites for the first time yesterday and they loved it :)

They are so tiny I always wonder whether they are at the right growth rate but then I look up other videos or photos and see yes they are that tiny lol.
