210 Oranda Posted July 13, 2015 Hello everyone, Since the imports didn't work for me, I decided to give a shot to the "american bred" chus.. These chubby cheeks SVR's arrived in great condition. 210 Oranda Posted July 14, 2015 They're absolutely lovely! Congratulations! Are your tanks doing better since the epic issues with the teles? I've been thinking about you Thanks Taryl!.. The 7 "juvies" in the 125G are doing great.. just a little (floaty) issue with one of the ryukins who spends half of the day gulping air but I'll get with you some other day in regards that. What about you?.. did you ended up getting Jeff's fish ?
Arctic Mama Posted July 14, 2015 Jeff is fasting them for transport right now, and then waiting for a day that isn't 90 degrees to ship. I'm super excited. If you're looking for teles he did indeed buy some stock from Tommy that has been qt'd and bred, so for the fish you like from a safer source you may want to look into his spawns. There are several right now from red and white and tricolor telescope, and he is much less expensive than many other vendors because he sells younger fry. I ordered one tell along with the two tosakin and two oranda, and I asked for a very heavily colored one, so we will see what he selects and I'll report back. He has a great, longstanding reputation in the betta, guppy, and swordtail world, and isn't a newbie on goldfish, either, so despite the lower profile I feel very confident with the purchase. His shop policies were also solid. I'd love to drive business his way if the juvies are awesome. They'll be a whole thread about it when they arrive
