Buddha?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a Buddha in your aquarium? I would love to see him in there, and tell me where you got him!

I think HomerJay has a Buddha in his tank. Not sure where it was bought at though.

Yeah, it's my tank. I got Buddha at Petsmart. I cut a hole in his back and put a hole in his head so i could put an airstone in him to keep him from stagnating. He was getting smelly by the end of the week without the water going through him.

I forgot to click the follow button on this topic, but anyway I hope you don't mind me posting your picture without your permission   But I'd like to ask you a question about it, how do you cut a hole in it without breaking it, and what did you use to cut it?

Your tank is amazing!  What do you do to make the lilies grow so well? :o

I don't mind at all. I used a Oscillating tool.

Thanks, but this was from a little while back. It doesn't look like this now. There is a pic of it now in the Tank of the month entries. I'm not sure what i did, they just grow. I use API Leaf Zone and CO2 booster when I remember. I have a 10K LED light strip on top.

I used to have a Buddha (the skinny Indian one). Problem: had holes in it. Fish decided he could fit in spite of all evidence to the contrary. Fish died.

It was a couple years ago; I was really new to fish keeping. Lesson learned.
