Recommended Posts

My 31 Jan 2015 breeding, a lot-off eggs hatched but some of the eggs scattered as clusters ! Is it normal ?

Fertilized eggs get sticky, so I don't see why not.

I remember seeing this with my own eggs last spring, I wouldn't say it's abnormal.

They're no different than separated eggs in that regard. These eggs are just together instead of spread out. It's more of a loss than a gain if you allow the eggs to get fungus, since all eggs in the clutch have to be discarded, even if there's a viable offspring in one of them.

To prevent other eggs i moved them out , still worry about my female in next breedings .
