My bunch of goldfish

Recommended Posts

This is the first time I found this thread. Your fish are so beautiful! I love your set up! Your apartment looks a lot like mine, tanks everywhere! But what else would you want in there?  :teehee

Thank you :) I like it a lot too. Yeah we have 5 tanks (from 19l to 660l) running right now. But room for extra if we need to QT fish ect and a few empty tanks in the basement, just in case :)

Your fish are so awesome and huge!

How do you like the canisters? Is there much of a difference between the fX5 and fX6? uuumm and while I'm at it, what is the width of your tank (using it for comparison purposes as I am still wondering about how I'll fit it anywhere/how it will look)?

They are growing a lot :) Thanks!

I love them - so much better than any other filter system that I've had. The shear amount of filtration you get is just great. TBH no not really that big of a difference. They say the motor is better in the FX6 than the FX5, and I do see a slight difference it how powerful the water comes out between the two. The Fx6 is perhaps 10% better than the FX6, but the setup, parts and whatnot are the same.

This tank (the 660l/175 gallon) is 2 meters long. My two 325l/85 gallon are 130 cm long.

Yes so do I - just so hard to get one, and then keep the black on them is even harder, lol :)

No they are not photogenic! :D They are super hard to capture. Especially Marlin... he is never standing still and if he sees you with a camera, he will move even faster!

It's from Marlins belly, which is very big :)

Thank you :)

The key is clean water and plenty of food. Lio is quite the little eater. He is only rivaled by Marlin at feedings.

Here is a little comparision between we I got him and now :)

So along with the two new arrivals (see here: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/122689-finally-new-fish/ ) and the spawns (see here: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/forum/index.php?/topic/122418-big-spawn/page-2 ) I also did a photoshot with the 8 Goldfish in my 660 liter tank. And just to keep this thread going strong, here is a few snaps from that:

And don't worry about the red butterfly with the bloody eye. It has been much worse and is much much better than he was - his popeye has gone down.

Thnx :) The LED light really brings out the best in them :)

And image that I only have had Wilhelm and Marlin for 1½ year! They have grown up I tell you :)

Which is why I love it so much. It's my Dads and I get to use it once in a while. The key is to take a few pictures right after each other without changing direction or anything. And then just hope for the fish to stay relativ still

Thank you :) Well it should be clear! I spend a good 10 minutes cleaning the tank before taking the photos and I have two FX6s running on the tank. So it better be clear...

Didn't get any pictures of the new guys, as they are getting medication and are dealing with a anchor worm infection. Also the spawn didn't get a photo shot, I will get to that later
