You bought live BBS? :o

it's the 'instant' kind from ocean nutrition.... i offered it to the fry and a bunch of them went for it :D

also got some duckweed, but it's got a bunch of snails on it :doh11:

:rofl

that was my reaction!

aparently, they're suspended in some kind of gel and you shake them up and drop a little in the tank... they're so tiny i'm not sure if they move around but the fry seemed to like them lol

just completed my first 100% waterchange- the two fry with malformed C-shaped spines passed away so at least i didn't have to cull them

did a complete head cound and i've got THIRTY fry !

.....a bit more than the original 9 :rofl3

Wow that's interesting, I've never heard of instant BBS before! I bet that stuff could really come in handy.

Haha I had a really hard time counting my fry when mine were still tiny! I now know that I have 18 though. I haven't gotten around to culling any of them yet though, so that number will probably go down a little bit eventually.

if the mocha fry make it through their first 6 weeks, only another 3 months and i can send you one of them :D:rofl

sadly i don't think they would be let through customs :o lol

4 days old

I have been offering baby brine shrimp and hikari first bites 5 times a day (started yesterday)
took the babies out to change their water today and was thrilled to see tiny little tummies :D:heart
hoping to see some major growth in the coming days :happydance
