Blue Oranda color change

Recommended Posts

Hey all, been a while since I've posted. My blue Oranda, Cash is going through an interesting phase. What color do they end up usually? He was silver with clear fins and bronze head with a bronze spot, now he almost looks like a panda. His tail has really rich charcoal coloring with white tips and his back has it as well. I like this color and was just wondering how long it might last

From your description, he will most likely end up being orange and white, with the orange being where the bronze is right now. All the blue should eventually become white. :)

A picture every other day would make a cool color changing montage. Or even a before and after is really exciting to see!

Sounds Beautiful :)

Mine went from silver/blue to white with a bit of orange, then the orange turned yellow, :)

The final picture looks like Tithra's beautiful boy, Hashi, before he went completely lemonhead. Very pretty fishie.

My Sarge is getting almost-black patches, too, as he turns orange! The last little bits of green are so dark and he has a little beak lol. I love Cash

SO pretty! I wonder if my blue oranda will end up changing colors too, he looks like yours did the day you first got him now, although his spots that are not silver aren't as vibrant or as bronzy as yours looked. His fins and head where somewhat clear when I got em but they seem to be getting darker so we shall see!

None the less I am jelly lol I want mine to at least grow out of all silver look ;)
