So, I promised to post some pictures of my mini pond snail tank, so here they are! :fishtank:

I have 3 pond snails in here right now. One is munching on a feeder block, so thats what the white thing is. The sand is a small bag of Petco white sand, and there are 2 amazon swords.

If you put this little tank near a window, add more plants and feed the snails tiny bits of food (don't crush the eggs) you will have an amazing, carefree little aqua garden in no time. I have done this with some ludwigia, java moss, and rottala, and it is insane. The snail population will regulate itself and they will feed the plants. :)

I never really liked pond snails but since I found these, I am in love. :wub::wub::wub::wub:

Are you supplying any sort of calcium for their shells? Or is that not necessary for pond snails?

I do provide the feeder blocks which the 1st ingredient is calcium. They do need calcium like all other snails. I worry about my big one not eating them, but my small snails are all over them.

Inhave that exact container! And inhave 3 pond snails I found! I think I may mimic your tank, it's amazing!

And I can use some of my green water in my fish tank and some sand :)
