Butterfly Telescope Fry!

Recommended Posts

Wish I could put a calm on him when he get ready. I can see great potential in that fish.

He's one of my favorites. They'll all be ready in January, maybe February ;)

I love the first's fused cadual lobes. Looks definitely like a vieltail :heart

Yeah, its body shape is so different from all the others too, so I'm pretty convinced haha :P

What a fun thread! You obviously took excellent care of them, and they look incredible. The (maybe?) veil tails are sooooooo cute!

Thank you :) I've been trying not to get too attached to them but it's not working!

Thanks :D Haha, one of the video commenters described it as "twitchy" lol. The tails are my favorite part about this breed of goldfish :)

WOW! is all I can say :)

They never cease to amaze me too :)

Thanks! :) It's funny looking back at how small they used to be. I haven't bothered with any updates since they still look the same :P Butttttt, here are some pictures from today's feeding time:

They're incredibly twitchy so it's super hard to lock them in focus. Don't even get me started on how difficult it is to focus on a black fry in a black background tank :doh11: I only took the first picture. After a while, I got frustrated and gave up so my bf stepped in and took the rest

That first pic is cool. Its raining bloodworms lol.

They are all looking great. The biggest one is so much bigger than the rest lol. When I saw that one pic up there I thought his name should be Goliath.

Yeah, it's gigantic! My mother's always making fun of it, how its body is so large but it has a short tail :P Goliath would be a very suitable name, provided he/she is a he, of course haha.

Thank you, I have a feeling the majority of the fry will have a white base. I don't plan on keeping any, unfortunately. Once I move these guys out, I get to focus on my main squeeze, the orandas haha. I'm thinking of getting rid of the whole 2-tank setup and upgrade to a single large tank for Arnie and Naruto. My boyfriend has gone and gotten himself attached to one of the fry though....idk how I'm going to handle that when the time comes for rehoming all these guys.

Thank you! These little guys will be needing homes in a few months if you're interested by then :) I'm making preparations for shipping already.

Thank you, I will be shipping out the majority of the fry :) I'm not too sure whether that dark tail will stay though. If it does, he'll look just like his daddy (Daniel E.'s Little Red)

They are beautiful. Congrats!

Thank you! :D

Thanks :) I wish you luck! Raising fry from eggs is quite the experience.
