Telescope Fry!

Recommended Posts

So, uhm, THE EGGS HATCHED :krazy:

If you didn't see a couple days ago, I woke up to find minuscule eggs in random places around the telescope tank! I was just gonna let the fish find and eat the rest because I didn't think they were good. But later I decided to take one of my floating plants out and put it in a bucket and wait and see what happens. Well... woke up a couple days later to a bucket of minuscule little fry!! :Jig: [i just found this emoji, omg cute]

As far as I can see, there are about 15-20. Hopefully some will live!! The mother is Legolas and the father are pretty much everyone else since she's the only female! :rofl

She's a lot bigger than in this picture now, I should go take some more... but this is Legolas:

Excited to see how they turn out if they do!! :) I'm gonna go read every fry page on this forum now. :rofl

I'm so excited!! I keep seeing lots of people having their fish lay eggs, but I wasn't expecting mine to be doing so any time soon!! :)

Here's the best my camera could do. They're mostly stuck on the plants and on the sides of the bucket. :)

We decided to put them outside and put them by the pool in a bucket. They're getting fresh pool water and doing really well!

All of them have really obvious tails, I'm hoping they got Legolas' tail! :D
