Normal Behavior?

Is it odd behavior to have fish go under the water filter and ride the downward pressure of flowing water.

One was doing this, then the other joined in.

I'm not sure to think it playfulness or not.

...might be a non-issue, and these fish are just wacky/bored.

My fish enjoy riding the bubbles from the bubblewand to the top of the tank its funny to watch goldies can be such odd little creatures :)

Mine do that sometimes to. it's funny they will take turns.

Mine have done that & have also swam "upstream" against the overflow current...like a salmon!!!
