Pendleton is nonstop!

Recommended Posts

So I moved around the fish a bit; Dyson the big orange and white ranchu that was with Pendleton, I moved her to the big tank with the other big fish and put the new girl in with Pendleton and Rufus since her prazi pro is over but she's definatly a girl and they're definatly boys, it's non stop they won't leave her alone and shes looking stressed what is the best thing to do? here's a video.

I can't access the video on my phone for some reason, but if the chasing is too much, you can float her in a colander in the tank so she can get some much needed alone time. :)

If the other female is also spawning, then it might help. Otherwise, they would just ignore her.

I would just give her intermittent breaks in the colander, and let them finish the process. It should be long if they are already relentless chasing her.

this is going to sound stupid, but how do I separate her with the colander does it float? or do I put it at the bottom of the tank?

Oh the poor girl. Hope she is getting rest now that you put her in a colander.

Your tank looks beautiful. Are those real plants? Very pretty.

Thank you! and no, they ate all of the plants lol.

So will they eventually leave her alone?

Whoops didn't mean to quote that last part, sorry!

They will, but you should let her out most of the day so they can chase her and get her to release the eggs.
