Good tank volume calculator, multi-shaped tanks

12 posts in this topic

Found this calculator. Great for getting the exact water volume of your tanks, especially odd shaped tanks. Select your tank shape in drop down menu.

Take INSIDE measurements, and for height you measure to your water level. I think this precision is important, especially for salt/meds treatment. :)

My 45G bow front tank holds 40.6 Gallons actually.

I bookmarked that one too, thanks. I had no idea my 40breeder actually holds between 43 and 45gallons depending on how high my water is, interesting.

So how much water does your tank really hold? So are you now overstocked? I am very very close.
