For whatever reason my buddy called me a j@ck@$$ at the end of this clip. Sorry in advance.

thank you. I have briefly calculated it to a minimum of 1500 gallons. It is 8' by 9' and steps from 1' to 2' to nearly 5' deep. Right now there is about 30 common goldfish of various sizes.

Awesome pond. I like the trickle filter and you already have a resident frog lol. I used to have a resident frog too but when i got a new puppy he's evicted. Missed the ###### frog, he just sleep below the plant box during the day and goes out at night to get laid, never gets in my pond to swim that's why I let him near my pond.

Great looking pond! How old is it now? Any other tenants beside the frogs?

Really looks nice (one could easily kill a couple of hours relaxing by it...)

Thanks for all tne comments. I appreciate them. The pond is a few weeks old now. In it are about 30 common goldfish and about 3 of the small frogs. My neighbor put in 6 larbe bullfrogs tninking he was doing me a favor. I have found 4 and relocated them to a lake so they wont eat my fish! There are now several different potted water plants going as well as hyacinth and water lettuce.

Yes thats my first try at a trickle filter. I dont have a lot of space in the area.

Simply beautiful. And i love the mixture of large and small fish (you should really work on stunting the growth on some of the small ones ;) ..and, again, your water looks so colourful - so nicely blue/green - veryvery nice

(so - do you still practice pond jumping? ;)

I love the look of a nice goldfish pond! If we weren't always trying to keep our house from falling apart, we'd build a nice big one. :D

Yours is spectacular! :heart

Thanks everyone!

I did some brief math to measure this pond to a minimum of 1500 gallons. It has a 1' deep part, a 1.5' deep part, and then tapers all the way down to nearly 5' deep.

I have not jumped into it lately! But I do stand in it from time to time. The fish seem to like to swim around my legs while I'm in there.

My next project is to buy a large planter that I can set near the pond to use as a gravel filter.

Whoa!!! That is stunning. If you ever ger the urge to build another one, my backyard is just waiting for you! You can leave the bullfrogs behind . . . :)
