  1. Hello again KoKolites, Amida my giant Ryu ( 8 inches to tail) is having real trouble righting herself. She was entirely upside down yesterday when I came home for Christmas celebrations- I righted her and since, although she has not gone completely belly up again she is hanging vertically and her belly is enormous and rock hard I strongly suspect this has to do with gulping at the surface looking for floating food, so I will definitely switch back to making jelly food for them if you think it will help. What I have to hand: Chloramine T, Octozin., Smaller QT Tank 15 x 11 inch. What I have already done: No food for 3 days, Peas this morning. Her external symptoms: She is still hanging from her nose, she can swim, she can breathe, I put the food close to her mouth so she could feed , so I don't know if it's realistic to say she can 'feed herself'. Video here: Should I move her to a smaller tank, medicate, wait it out ? I am keeping an eye on your other post regarding this too, asI know there is a smiliar on going on at the moment, so feel free to refer back to that if necessary! 2. My remaining GF, Gracie, seems doomed. She is on the bottom and upside down, and recently on her side. It all started with a cyst on her side. That is better now, but then she went to the bottom and only came up to eat. Then my wife accidentally over fed her and then she got this swim bladder issue. She is currently in a gauze thing near the top of the tank, because I didn't want her to lie on the gravel. The only thing we offer her to eat are a bit of a pea, and she has little appetite anyway. I think there is little hope, but I thought I would put it out here and see what happens. She is in a 40gallon tank, well filtrated, water tests to all 0s except Ph which is 72.

She has always had floaty tendencies. She has taken mms successfully twice in the past per recommendation of mods here but all that was at least a year ago or longer. She has had prazi rounds every six months since I've had her. Other than that just a floaty fish. * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? Currently a small red dot on her underside and some rubbing marks on her dorsal fin because of resting on it at the bottom of the tank * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? She stays at the bottom, is swimming upside down when she chooses to move, lays upside down, is not eating, and is presenting with pineconing as of yesterday. Flopsy is swimming upside down nearly all the time as of about 10 days ago. As she does this frequently I didn't think much of it just fed some peas one with a grain of Epsom salt and thought it would pass. When it didn't I moved her into a sterilite tub and began watching her for two more days. She showed a little spot of raised scales where she'd been resting so I decided to go ahead with metro meds to see if it would help. Today is day 8 and she has just started to pine cone all over as of yesterday afternoon. I have metromeds and medi gold on hand as well as salt and Epsom salt. Please help me. I love this fish. She's already been through so much as you have seen in the past. I just want her to be happy. Video and pictures soon. Thank you all so much.

Going to the surface often and gulping air Few days ago, Tuff, My red ryukin was flipping upside down after eating and he looked like he was constipated, so the next day I went to the grocery store to buy some frozen peas, I went home and heated some under the microwave for 1minute I peeled the shell off and I squish the peas and dumped it in so Tuff can eat it, later on eating it he poo out normally but this time green and the day later he started to gulp air when ever he sees me, and I don't if it's normal or not, he keeps gulping air ever since when I gave him peas, yesterday, when I checked his poo it was like really long and it was whitish case in some parts and brown in some parts, in the morning, I see poo floating to the top with air bubbles inside, I don't know what I should do.. Is there something wrong with him? I fed him some more peas so he can poo all the air out..
