    Baby fish , finally!

This year we have baby fish. Almost missed it. Wife said get those fish into the breed pond , time is right. 22 March and raining. Well they did their job and now at a month old are looking nice , 10mm. And very hungry. Today were given first synthetic foods.

    KOI BABY, new

Finally koi decide to spawn. It has been a long time since they do anything so I remove one mop nest to an inside aquarium for hatching safe and good that I did as this week came a very cold hail storm which can kill new eggs. Pictured are the baby koi today at age one day hanging on to everything just after hatching in the house aquarium. One needs sharp eyes to see them at this tender age.
