  1. I upgraded my 4 goldies (1 small, 2 med, 1 large) to a 75 gallon 2 weeks ago. Parameters matched old & new tank. Api test (drops) on 5/29 (set up) : ammonia 0, nitrate 10, nitrite 0, ph 8.2. I moved the established filters & media to the 75g, filtration is 800 gph. water test on 5/30 was nitrate 20, ph 8.2, ammonia & nitrite 0. Water test 6/1 results: same. Water test 6/5: same. Water change 6/8 of apx 12 gallons. I tested the water today & all same except ammonia at 1.0, my large oranda has lifted scales/pinecone. I check the fish daily and he/she wasn't like this. Water is r.o. with seachem gold trace, buffer, prime, salt. All fish are eating, I am unsure of the age. I did a 20 gallon water change 2 hours ago & double dose prime. the ro ph is 6.0 so I need to do small frequent water changes bc of the ph difference, I do have a better idea of how to do larger water changes that are safe for the fish, I didn't get it done since 6/8 because of long work schedule and my geriatric dog was having some health issues (he's ok now). Anyway, I have kanaplex and metronidazole (seachem), what should I do to help the fish: qt, meds, both, anything else? Thank you for any suggestions

API drops * Water temperature? 72* * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? 15 gallon tub filled to 10 gallons about a week filter free * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? None * How often do you change the water and how much? 100% daily * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? Today 100% * How many fish in the tank and their size? 1, 5" without tail * What kind of water additives or conditioners? Prime and baking soda * What do you feed your fish and how often? Regularly she gets new life spectrum goldfish pellets but she is currently being fed 1% her body weight in metromeds daily. This is day 8. * Any new fish added to the tank? No * Any medications added to the tank? No * List entire medication/treatment history for fish and tank. Please include salt, Prazi, PP, etc and the approximate time and duration of treatment. She has always had floaty tendencies. She has taken mms successfully twice in the past per recommendation of mods here but all that was at least a year ago or longer. She has had prazi rounds every six months since I've had her. Other than that just a floaty fish. * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? Currently a small red dot on her underside and some rubbing marks on her dorsal fin because of resting on it at the bottom of the tank * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? She stays at the bottom, is swimming upside down when she chooses to move, lays upside down, is not eating, and is presenting with pineconing as of yesterday. Flopsy is swimming upside down nearly all the time as of about 10 days ago. As she does this frequently I didn't think much of it just fed some peas one with a grain of Epsom salt and thought it would pass. When it didn't I moved her into a sterilite tub and began watching her for two more days. She showed a little spot of raised scales where she'd been resting so I decided to go ahead with metro meds to see if it would help. Today is day 8 and she has just started to pine cone all over as of yesterday afternoon. I have metromeds and medi gold on hand as well as salt and Epsom salt. Please help me. I love this fish. She's already been through so much as you have seen in the past. I just want her to be happy. Video and pictures soon. Thank you all so much.

Please include salt, Prazi, PP, etc and the approximate time and duration of treatment. Was treated a few months ago with double prazi and salt dips to rid the fin flukes * You can really help us to identify with the concern more accurately if you post some pictures and a short video. So as I have answered in the questions, I suspect Leonard has flukes again..... I'm totally not 100% sure though..... I was thinking I should do a salt dip and then treat with double prazi again, but I'm not sure since now there is actual pineconing..... What do you think this is?? Here is from above.... not sure if you can see the left side of is body looks to be shaped a bit differently from the right Here is from the side. Notice how he just sits there Here you can see the lifted scales on the right side of the tail. They are just barely sticking up, but I can see it Here is the tail split and the veins Please help guys!!
  5. It's about two weeks now since Wakka started to pinecone again (he pineconed once early this year). The other two fish that started to pinecone slightly went flat within 24 hours. Removing all the TMS and the rust in it really seems to have massively improved the situation. I even gave the filters a good cleaning in order to get any possible rust particles out of there too. But Wakka is not 100% flat yet. He has been in Epsom for the first week. Temperature is at 82F, 10g QT with 180gph HOB, daily 100% w/c, params 0/0/0. 400mg metronidazole per 10 gallons of tank water. I clean his filters out weekly to remove as many nasties as possible. He also tends to tip onto his side when swimming near the bottom. He has no problem swimming around in the tank / up to the surface / down to the bottom, but he tips over and sideways a lot - see video. Periodically bottom sitting under a plant. He always had buoyancy issues ever since I got him, getting floaty, or flipping over without being floaty etc. The wound on his side is healing nicely. All bloody spots have disappeared within a few days. The mushy belly firmed up again. He is quite active and has great appetite. No clamping, no gasping. Nice pink gills, no redness/red streaks or anything. Just the still slightly lifted scales and the swimming issues. It's like watching Bambi on the frozen lake. So.... continue MMs? For how long? Re-add epsom since we went a week without since the last use, or is this not recommended? For now I'll be keeping him in QT either way, because with his buoyancy issues I don't want to toss him into a tank with almost 700gph filtration and 75% output of a whisper 300 air pump. D:
