  2. Is Feesh??

Did you get that ryukin from the breeder on this forum? It looks very similar to the one I just got from here! Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

  5. Tank of the Month Entries December

My 55 gallon goldfish tank, containing 3 juvenile goldfish, Wilbur (calico Ranchu) Sullivan (orange and black Ranchu), and Artemis (white ryukin). It's planted with a play sand substrate and ecocomplete which used to be only in the corners until the goldfish got to it... I have 2 florescent lights which grow the plants decently, but I'm still waiting for them to grow in and look a bit more lush. I have a heater just for temp stability and my filter is the new Marlin Penn plax canister filter for 55 gallon tank, great filter, nice adjustable flow and media space! 7. Goldfish with corydoras

Yeah my corydoras are by no means small, I have a feeling they won't get eaten! Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  8. Goldfish with corydoras

I've heard of that but these guys are awfully large. They are corydoras paleatus and that are about 3 inches long and very big around, I just couldn't imagine a Ranchu it ryukin being able to fit one in their mouth. The goldfish are still juveniles now and as they grow I'll definitely continue to closely observe them. If notice that they could potentially fit in their mouths, I'll definitely re-home them. The reason they are in there is that I had them in a 10 gallon but have since learned that was not a good environment for them, so I thought this would be a step up, at least as a temporary solution. Just for now, I want to make sure they are comfortable and wanted to know if there was any way to make that possible. Thanks for the advice though and if I see any signs of the goldfish being too large, I'll re-home the corydoras Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  9. Hello! I have 2 Ranchu, 1 ryukin and 4 corydoras paleatus, which means my stocking is definitely full. (Don't worry I keep up with water parameters very well!) Well, my problem is that all day long the corydoras are in the plants. I have a theory that they don't have enough hiding spaces so are scared to cone out if the live plants in the corners. It's not any kind of emergency I just want to make sure that they are living a good life. They are big enough that in sure the goldfish will never be able to eat them. Should I add some sort if hiding spot or some other solution? Also temp stays around 70 so it should be good for both of them! Thanks! Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk We
