  1. Thanks, he will be one of my breeders for next year. I have another male (red) and two female (red and red/white) that is coming from Thailand.
  2. New fish is always good and exciting.
  3. From Coast Gem USA. Got them for $25 each and only $15 USPS two days shipping. Enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I would do metronidazole. You can also mix it with garlic guard to add acceptance and Seachem Focus to help bind it. Then mix it with fish food (pellets, bloodworms etc). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The blue ranchu is from Coast Gem USA. The Sakura ranchu is from buygoldfish.com and the white ranchu is from a seller on eBay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I do not believe that the bigger the pellets, the better for digestion etc. I use the smallest Azayaka pellets. My one inch black ranchu and betta can even eat it.

  8. Yes, all from different places. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Here’s two pictures of my father in law’s Wakins.
  10. Nice fish! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I do believe that it is better to use the smallest size if using dry foods for fancies. As it will be less work for the digestion system. I believe the best foods are the more natural foods. Which means less processed. Second if it is processed, the better option would be better ingredients. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Anyone tried it. I’ve been using it on mines and they seem to love it. Wen growth has been growing good also with this food. Here’s a little article that I found. https://puregoldfish.com/pellets/amp/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I had a calico ranchu who had the same thing. All I did was keep up with the weekly water changes and it disappeared by itself. My fish didn't have any other odd signs also. Eating, swimming, and look healthy. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  14. I had both, well I have the python first when it came out. The quality is better on the Python. The Aqueon's quality is cheaper, but it weights less, easier to wrap up, and put away. I got another Aqueon water changer when I got back into fish keeping, because I found it at a better price of $25 for the 25 ft. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  15. Could be the high protein. I had two fish that had floating issues. I believe it to be genitics, but I do notice that over feeding or feeding high protein will trigger it more. I would feed foods in lower proteins, like Omega One, and feed him less frequently. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  16. Hah, happy April Fools guys! Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  17. I caught a carp at a local steam today (about 1 1/2 feet) and have it in a 40 gallon. What do I feed it etc? AF [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  18. Praziquantel and metro, then you are good. Aquarium salt and Epsom salt is useful also, but I don't use it much. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  19. Without the water readings for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates, it is hard to tell. If you aren't doing a weekly water change, then it might be your problem. Bad water quality can cause a lot of issues. From fin rot, cloudy eyes, to fish getting unhealthy. Also what temperature is the tank exactly at? Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks, all this time I thought the fishes has scale damage or imperfection. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  21. Yes, it somehow seems like it's sticking out. I guess those are just the mixture of the two scales? Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  22. Just like the two pictures above. I notice mostly calicos and sakura (hope I'm spelling that right) mostly has them scales. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  23. So is that why some scales sticks out? Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
  24. Not my fishes, but like these. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
