  2. I have three GF babies in a 0.2% salt solution. Increasing to 0.3% shortly. But my question is How long after they eat should I see Poop? I havent seen a lot of anything... are they constipated? One is showing signs of swimming with is head down tail up. Going to do the epson salt and green peas today. Newbie here Thanks for the info. Tracey
  3. New member here..sooo glad I found this site. I fell in love with goldish off watching youtube. I found Jennie with Sold Goldfish and knew they where for me. Now I have a 40 gallon with 3 babies. I have two Panda Telescope Butterflies and one White Oranda. I have had them for approximately a week now. I had a Calico Oranda it died. It was stressed from the mail arrival and never recovered. I am doing a fish in cycle ..which now i know is not the best option. I have learned alot off this site...Thanks for the add! Tracey G. PS I live in Alabama.. Anybody from Alabama out there????
  4. Thanks for the quick reply shakaho. They are in a 40 gallon tank.
  5. I received 4 fish via mail. 2 telescope and 2 orandas. Orandas are approximately 1 in and the telescopes are approximately 1/2 inch in size. i am doing a fish in cycling of the tank. Not an ideal situation as I have read! They have been in the tank for 4 days now. I am using Prime and added the API Quick Start also. My water parameters are PH 8.0, Ammonia today 1.0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0. I This is the highest my ammonia has gotten. I did a 75% water change after adding the Prime. Now the Ammonia is down to .25% others are the same. This afternoon one of my Orandas died. It had been stressed since its arrival. But my major question is are they too young to treat with Prazi? I noticed that they spitting food and i was worried about parasites. I am feeding Repashy Soilent Green. Thanks for your input.
