  1. Yeah they tend to hold them every month until like Spring/summer (I can never remember when they stop) and start again October. Haha, I never go with the intention of buying, but it always happens [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You're like me, you can't help but torture yourself hahaha. Do bare in mind that not everything sells on the open day! If you see something you like, you can always drop Andy a line and see if it's still available I know, I know, I'm not helping haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I will be there on Saturday to photograph the fish - I will try to make a post, though it may not be until Sunday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thank you Dawn! I am well thank you, hope you are too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hey Kokonuts! It's been a while All is well with my fish, and on Saturday I picked up a couple of little juvies Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have a few fish from Star, and they're are gorgeous. I am somewhat biased as I do some work for Andy, but I can tell you that if you bought fish from him and had any problems with them when you received them, he would sort something out for you, he's very good like that. 7. He's looking great Mikey, keep up the good work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you everyone! [emoji16] it's nice to be back and see so many familiar names (and new ones) [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey Lisa! [emoji16] you joke, but they do actually cost me a small fortune to feed haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks [emoji4] I got him from Star Fisheries, he was a present for my birthday. Star isn't cheap (he was £250) BUT you won't find better quality fish elsewhere in the U.K. Andy does sell them at all different sizes too, Doyle is the size of a tennis ball. My blue oranda is also from there, as well as my new big chu who's still in QT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sorry Kate, I've just deleted all of my emails so you should be able to send one now! [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thank you! [emoji16] I'll try to remember my password this time haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hello, haven't been on for a while (repeatedly forget my password, oops, thanks Dan!). Quick update on the fish, everyone's doing well, having some problems with a big Ranchu I bought a couple of months ago, but Cynthia from East Coast Ranchu is very kindly helping me out with me. One of my fish recently became eggbound, and ended up pineconed and upside down whilst in QT, but has now fully recovered. Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thank you Chris The pearlscale is a cutie, he was bought for me for my birthday, along with my little blue oranda Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Haha, you'll have to fight me for them Mikey! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thank you! yes, so much more! I had losses around Christmas and couldn't work out what the problem was initially. I removed he substrate and have had no issues since. I can see where all the poop is, and there's nowhere for anything to really build up. I think it actually looks nicer in this tank, too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks beaut! 16. thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks Rob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks Jenna hope your guys are doing well!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. It's been a while since I've done an update Since removing the substrate, my fish have never been healthier. I'm still doing 90-100% water changes every 3 days, it's working really well for the tank. The tank is currently home to 3 short tail ryukins, 7 orandas, 7 Ranchu, a pearlscale, 3 bristlenose plecos and a handful of hillstream loaches. Oh, and I have a baby! The culls are living in a pond tub outside, but I'm growing this little beauty out. It's a short tail calico ryukin, I'm so looking forward to watching it grow! It's now 6 weeks old. Enjoy the pictures! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. thank you [emoji1]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Thank you Tiki! [emoji1] I love the bare bottom, no contest in my opinion! It allows me to see any build up of poop, so I don't miss any when I clean, and I think it looks really fresh and clean [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. thanks [emoji1]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk thanks Mandy [emoji1]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk thanks Katy [emoji1]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. They look great, lovely photos! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thought I'd post a quick video of the gang (I apologise if the video quality is bad, it seems to look awful on everything other than my phone and Instagram). Enjoy!https://vimeo.com/174036910 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I have a mixed tank - 10 males and 6 females. I've only ever had one really rough spawn which unfortunately happened when I was away for the night, and the female passed away a few days later. In the 2 years that tank has been running though, spawning has never been at all aggressive other than that one occasion. If you were to go with one sex though, I'd say male. I've had egg bound females and it's stressful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
