Fishmother, on a side note, if you ever want good anacharis in norcal, and you are near Hollister, stop by the local pet store here. Their plants are the only thing I recommend, actually. XD one of the workers grows all the plants, and he has a whole garage full of planted tanks that he personally keeps, so all of the plants he sells are great quality. They're cheap too. The struggle is real, you're right. None of the fish stores or other pet stores sell anacharis. I hope your fish baby gets better soon!! Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

  6. @koko I wasn't really asking for a diagnosis, just your guys opinions. Schmenny is actually almost fully recovered and improving everyday. ^_^ That's why I said I wasn't sure if I posted this in the right spot. Just kinda curious what your guys' thoughts were on it, or what you thought it looked like, etc. Test Results for the Following: * Ammonia Level 0 * Nitrite Level(Tank) 0 * Nitrate level(Tank) 0 * Ammonia Level(Tap) 0 * Nitrite Level(Tap) 0 * Nitrate level(Tap) 0 * Ph Level, Tank 7.4 * Ph Level, Tap 7.4 Other Required Info: * API drops * 74F * 36G * Fluval Aquaclear 50 * 90% WC every 5 days * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? - yesterday * How many fish in the tank and their size? -2 (3in? 4?) * What kind of water additives or conditioners? * What do you feed your fish and how often? -soilent green, hikari gold * Any new fish added to the tank? -no * Any medications added to the tank?- no * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? - bruises as shown in photo... * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? -no
  7. I've had my ranchu since he was a baby, and he has had a little wen forever, but only just now started growing more wen after a year and a half. Does your ranchu exhibit breeding behaviors, or get breeding stars at all? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  8. I thought it was bacterial, and it still may be, however it looks like it really could just be bruising from fast growth. He had a small amount of wen, and now has moderate, and it happened almost overnight. I will try to get some more close up photos. You can see where the vessels are burst. Thanks for the good wishes and thoughts. I'm sorry your heart is still heavy. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Are there any other pictures you can upload? If not, can you circle or draw an arrow at the parasites you are trying to show? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  14. I noticed about two weeks ago that Schmendrik had what looked like bruises on his face. I did more wc's than normal these last two weeks, and the bruises went away. At least they did for about a day. Now he has symmetrical bruises in his cheeks. I thought at first that he may have ran into the glass during the night or something. However, today I noticed that he had a LOT more wen on his face where he had the previous bruises, and the current ones. Had anyone else ever experienced anything along those lines? I know that these are not the best shots, sorry. The first two are the previous bruising. He's still acting completely normal, haven't had to treat him with anything, or quarantine or anything. Still eats, plays, etc. I don't know if I've posted in the wrong section, if so, I'm sorry! Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
