  1. Entire fish stock dead

I wonder if this has any effect on PH. The packaging didn't say so. Top Fin aquaponic clay
  2. Entire fish stock dead

@shakaho I used Sodium Thiosulfate as recommended by King of DIY on youtube.
  3. Entire fish stock dead

It's disheartening. I'm considering taking the tank down for a while.
  4. Entire fish stock dead

I never had this issue before so I honestly don't know. What buffer do you use to keep your PH stable? It has to be something toxic because they were behaving fine. Edit: I don't have a KH/GH test kit.

Thank you. I've been keeping fish for a few years now. I'm specially angry about my beautiful white oranda.
  7. I woke up this morning to two of my fish dead. i did not see any signs of illness on the other fish AND I had to go to work. When I came home all the rest of the fish were dead. They had developed a kind of white film on their bodies [see pictures]. The water parameters were all fine and I've never had this happen before. The ONLY new addition to this tank was an oranda from Petsmart that I added about 1 week ago and aquaponic stones from Petco for the Pothos i have growing on top. I did not see any ich marks or anything telling of disease leading up to this. The fish were eating and behaving normally.
  8. Stocking a 110 gallon

Can common and fancy live together?
  9. Stocking a 110 gallon

    How fast do they grow?
  10. Stocking a 110 gallon

So I have a 110 gallon tank and I want to stock it with goldfish. Now, I was wondering if it is advisable to keep feeder fish. I don't want to feed them to anything, just keep them as regular fish. And how many can I keep in a 110?

My silver dollars ate the leaves. I moved the plant to a shower caddy attached to the side of my tank. I hope it recovers.
  12. Aquatop canister filters?

I've had a Sunsun since March and it is a BEAST. No complaints so far. A little hard to prime but once it starts it's pretty good.
  13. Olucky bamboo in HOB

I have two other canister filters on this tank. This HOB only has bamboo in it. As for nitrate levels. It's hard to tell at this point. Others have had success so I hope this works out in the end.
  14. Here's a picture of lucky bamboo in a HOB. I just added it for extra nitrate consumption. Since adding them (a few weeks ago, added the dark green one a week ago) I've noticed the plant's leafs have gotten bigger and greener.

LOL these are actually in my Oscar tank. But I shared anyways.
