  1. Great that sounds like it could work. A year will buy me enough time yo think about bigger tanks and stuff.Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  2. So after the water change add the full dose, or just replace what's being taken out? Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  3. The fish do seem to be darting out quite alot and spitting out food, so i am thinking they've got flukes, 3 fluke solve is powdered prazi, on what days shall i dose the prazi? I forget how its done. The tank is filtered yes.Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  4. Only since last night.Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  5. So the 55 litre storage container would be fine for the two goldfish long term? Is it better than the quarantine tank I already have them in which is just a standard 65 litre storage tub, it's tall though not shallow. Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry could somebody remind me how it works for two rounds to 3 rounds? I forget which days I am supposed to add salt/Prazi, at the moment the fish are at 0.3% salt. Do I keep adding salt whilst I am treating with Prazi? Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  7. For how long do you think they'll be ok in with my fancies? Obviously when they get larger stocking levels will be an issue. Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  8. This isn't going to work out long term though is it?Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  9. Or would they be better off in my 400 litre tank temporarily? Currently home to 4 fancies and 3 weather loaches. Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  10. I've recently rescued two tiny comet goldfish, didn't really have the space but they were going to die if I didn't have them. I currently have 3 tanks, however the only tank I could really put them in is only 100 litres, I currently have 3 bn plecs in there. What tank size do I really need for 2 comets and 3 bn plecs? At the moment I have the goldfish in a 65 litre storage container as they are in quarantine. I'm worried about their size in relation to the bn plecs, do you think they might get eaten at their current size? Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  11. Ahh I see, I always thought it was 20 gallons for the first fish and 10 gallons for each additional? Loaches are around 6 inches I suppose.Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  12. I'll be using fluke solve as I'm in the UK. They really are very tiny so should I be extra caution with how much medication I'm adding? Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  13. Just a quick question. My fish tank is 106 us gallons, I currently have 4 fancies and 3 weather loaches, i was wondering if this gave me anymore room for additional fish? As I'm not sure how much space the weather loaches need, I've had them around 5 years and they haven't grown any bigger for the last 3 years. Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  14. Hello, I have rescued two tiny comets from a lady who had them in a bowl with no filter, she won them from the fair as was wanting to get rid of them. I currently have them in a 70 litre storage container with an established filter. So far no obvious illnesses, although one of them has some black on its mouth which I was thinking could be ammonia burns and the other fish isn't really eaten, they still seem quite scared (only got them last night) My question is what action should I take to quarantine them, obviously I need to treat for flukes, I suspect they have them, but how many rounds, and what salt concentration? 15. Thanks everyone, on the plus side everyone else is doing OK, Sebastian got over the pine coning really well. Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
