    2 oranda, one lionhead.
  1. Thanks you all for the replies and support
  2. Hello Kokonuts, After a long and loving relationship with my goldies, I feel that I cannot give them the care they need any more. My schedule has become so busy over the last couple years, and finances have become tight, and because of that my fish are not receiving the attention they deserve. I know all you goldfish lovers are very talented fish keepers, so I thought I would ask all of you before I sent them to my LFS. I really don't want to put them there because I have no control over where they may be homed after that. It would break my heart to have them end up in a bowl! I have either 2 or three fish I would like to re-home: A 4 inch orange and white lionhead, who I raised from just a little guy, and who has deformed fins, A beautiful red and white oranda from Rain Garden, and a gorgeous blue and orange oranda who is over 7 inches with his tail, who I may have to keep do to SBD. I am willing to pay for shipping if someone could tell me how to pack the fishies. If you are interested, please post or message me the following: • Size of your tank • How many fish are occupying the tank • What kind of filter your tank is fitted with • Recent illnesses in the tank (if any) • How long your tank is been running • How long you have been keeping goldifsh • A picture of your tank setup (if possible) Here they are: Blue orange oranda http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3au6zp3ku1rum5qjo1_500.jpg Lionhead http://i1049.photobucket.com/albums/s385/tomoko10/Facebook/Mobile%20Uploads/534171_206415342800196_100002951953631_353800_603962620_n.jpg You can see the red oranda in my profile picture This is a very difficult thing for me to do, but I want them to be able to be in a better situation. Thanks for looking.
  3. Update! They look great so far! Their fins seems to be rounding off and filling back in I'm really relived!
  4. They look great today! I really want to thank you for all that you've done for me and my fish. This was very scary for me, but you helped me every step of the way http://i1324.photobu...zpsc13b5142.jpg Thank you Dnalex!!!
  5. Woo hoo! I sure hope they get better now I wonder if the medicine dyed them green! lol
  6. I'm almost ready to take them out they seem good. What should I look for as a result of the treatment? should the fins look mended?
  7. I plan on replacing all 20 gallons of water before I put the goldies in
  8. kurriku

    Feathers ;(

That is awful I'm sorry. R.I.P.
  9. One more question before the treatment Will I still have to do a WC if I move the RG fish to the main tank and clean the 20 gallon QT and put them in there? Does that make any sense? Thanks for your help I'm really nervous!!
  10. YES! I'm so glad I can finally put that guy in! I haven't put the fish into treatment quiet yet I will tomorrow. When they are in the bucket, will a single WC per day work? Thanks!
  11. They seem a tiny bit better might just be my eyes playing tricks on me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am to put the fish in the bucket with the suggested amount of acriflavine, for two days, with no filter, but an air pump? How many water changes should I do over that period of time, if any? Is 5 gallons really enough room? Also, during that time when they are in treatment, can I put the RG fish in the main tank? Or would it be safer just to wait until this is all over? Thank you so much!!!
  12. How long should I keep them in the bin?
