  6. like the pearlies......so pretty..........glad to see you are gonna set up a 40 gal. for them.......they will grow and love the space......until then like 4prettyfish said I would do larger water changes...............oh and welcome to the site.......we LOVE to see pics !!
  7. so sorry for your loss of SPOT............RIP.............and yes one can get so attached to fish....
  8. I am with Hidr, It wouldn't do me any good to look, I would want them all and I am at my limit..........I will just enjoy the wonderful pics of the gems everyone else finds..............
  9. I needed 3 towels to sop up the water mess..........not to mention that the water got to my NEW rug in the bathroom, had to wash the towels and rug...the water hose coming off the screw in spout was on my deaf side so I didn't hear it right away, but as soon as I realized that water was at the other end I got to the BR as quickly as I could and turned off the water..............
  10. on March 1st Tim moved to his apt in a neighboring town.............but he remains helpful to me as in this case........... While doing a water change on the 30, C&F tank, the hose from the water changer came off..........and I panicked....Water was EVERYWHERE..................so I called Tim and he came to help me........He said that the fact that the hose part came off was NOT my fault............and that it shouldn't happen again..........but, I didn't want to take any chances......so today I DRAINED the tank, along with the 20 gallon tropical tank via the water changer and re-filled both tanks via "bucket " and all was well........... My confidence was restored, and I did a big sigh of relief.............this is how I will do all future water changes..........per the ole bucket.............I know for sure that there will be NO water mess and I can take my time too...........
  11. your plants and fish a very pretty..............
