    Meet Wilbur!

Good luck to you guys! His story is so similar to my mom's dog Honey. She found me in the parking lot of my store two years ago. She was also two years old and HW positive. She was so covered in fleas that during her first bath the water turned red. She was afraid of everything but still loves people. We figured she was dumped because of her being HW positive. She obviously never had any vet treatment before in her life. That dog has got to be one of the best dogs ever. I think Wilbur looks like an American Bulldog/boxer mix. He really has some boxer traits in his face. I just wanna double check. Did the vet look for a microchip?

My Dog Koko is Very Sick.

I am keeping you guys in my thoughts Echo has an "innocent murmur." It is tough to be in the doggie cardiologist's office and wait.

    A little worried

I am sorry for your loss most sellers have that guarantee unfortunately. I've gotten fish from Ken when the temps were in the high 90s. When you have a seller that really knows how to ship, then temps don't play as big of a role.

    Quarantining Otto Cats

I wouldn't prazi them at all. Prazi isn't as affective in tropical fish. Just bring it up to a tropical fish keeper. They laugh. When my new round of Angelfish had flukes I asked an angelfish forum for help. They suggested formilin and a refund. Just go with super clean water. I had such great success with otos and clean water. I had seven for two years when the stress of the move was too much

Dog keeps peeing on floor :(

I was going to second this. It seemed that whenever we brought a new dog into the house and it made a mess, the previous dog always had to mark over it. This happened when I brought my one year old boxer back into my parent's house and their dog started marking over even though he hadn't had an accident in years.

    Goldfish Growth Under Scales

I know you said you are working on getting the test kits but can you please fill out the following form. Test Results for the Following: * Ammonia Level(Tank) * Nitrite Level(Tank) * Nitrate level(Tank) * Ammonia Level(Tap) * Nitrite Level(Tap) * Nitrate level(Tap) * Ph Level, Tank (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) * Ph Level, Tap (If possible, KH, GH and chloramines) Other Required Info: * Brand of test-kit used and whether strips or drops? * Water temperature? * Tank size (how many gals.) and how long has it been running? * What is the name and "size of the filter"(s)? * How often do you change the water and how much? * How many days ago was the last water change and how much did you change? * How many fish in the tank and their size? * What kind of water additives or conditioners? * What do you feed your fish and how often? * Any new fish added to the tank? * Any medications added to the tank? * List entire medication/treatment history for fish and tank. Please include salt, Prazi, PP, etc and the approximate time and duration of treatment. * Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? * Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? Also, are you adding the salt for treatment? It actually worsens toxicity of the ammonia present so I would discontinue using it.
  8. Your BB will be fine. I have several times done a water change with either much colder or warmer water and no cycle problems.

    Update on My Tanks

I ended up not painting the tank but just saving my money and leaving it the way it was. I haven't weighed the fry in a while but I can give it a try when I do their next water change. Here is the 180.

my fry tank is looking nasty as hell

This is what I did as well. Except I moved my fry with either a tablespoon or cup.
  14. I hope I don't sound rude in saying this. But with a dropsy fish you really cannot let the water changes go to every two weeks. And if you absolutely must let it go for two weeks, do a 90% water change and not just a 50%.
