Not the best pictures, but it's a little odd any way.

I took a large balloon and blew it up. Soaked paper towls in water and glue solution. Maybe 1 part glue 2-3 parts water. Covered balloon with paper towels. For the fins I used sheets of paper that were doubled up and cut out the shape of the fins, that way they would be mirror images of each other. I painted them with water color paint, but any kind (tempura would work) would do. For the scales used tissue pater and cut it into squares abot 1X1 1/2 inches. I piled those together and rounded one edge to make a D shape. I layed them out in rows and put a semi circle of glue on each one then applied glitter. I glued each scale on with elmers glue and used hot glue to attach the fins. For the face I used a styrafoam bowl, and I cut out a section of egg carton and glued that on as well. I'm terrible at explaining things , sorry. I just kind of winged it. Google paper mache and look it up on youtube. Just use your imaginations and you'll both have fun. I'm going to make a hedge hog next, or maybe a puffer fish.
