This is Fimble waiting for the QT to fill up so she can reach to have a drink. Why she can't drink out of her bowl is beyond me!

She used to drink out of all my previous tanks & the pond (when we had one). If she could I'm sure she'd figure out how to drink out the new tank, but she's too old to jump that high.

Ebony has assured me that tap water is not fit to drink unless it makes a puddle on the sidewalk. Used fish water, in contrast, is always fit for a kitty.

Ha! That's so true. In the picture you can see my nitrate filter - it's hooked up to the outside tap but it leaks a little. Fimble will drink from that puddle too - dust and all!

Our other cat Midge will drink from her bowl fine. On the other hand, she hasn't figured out how a sofa works. Here she is wedged on top of the cushions between me & my husband. Apparently it's idiotic to lie on the actual seat

Cats are weird. Period.

That first picture is adorable!! Midge often ends up in dumbass positions like that. She's soft in the head!

Wish ours would get on as well as yours in pic2. They prefer hissing at each other.

Mookies colour is so pretty. Love him (or her?).
