  1. That would not be a permanent solution. If you have algae on your plants it is because the conditions are perfect for the algae to grow. Your tank is probably receiving too much light. You could cover your tank with a blanket for 3 days, leave the light off for that period. Once you take the blanket off all the algae should be gone
  2. Hidr, I agree that it doesn't look like hole in the head disease. It is a very clean wound. Mikey, my parameters are 0,0 and less than 20ppm. Tank size 65 gallons, 25 degrees C. 2 x large Eheim Ecco canister filters. Prime used as water treatment. No meds added. Fish fed on veggie and tuna gel foods.
  3. Hello Mikey, thanks for answering. My parameters are all good. It do not believe that it is a water quality issue. Hidr, I always check under the Mopani wood when I move the pieces for gravel cleaning. There are no ornaments in the tank. I was worried that the gravel may have done it if he was under the wood when I moved it.
  4. Hey guys, one of my bristle nose plecs has a large gaping hole behind its right eye. Julie noticed after I did a water change yesterday. I have added a picture. Anyone seen this before ? Thanks
  5. Hope everyone at Kokos is ok, not been on for ages. I am in the gulf on an operational tour, it's 43 degrees C today :(

  12. Had to put Frodo to sleep this morning :( He was on his side on the bottom of the tank this morning. His spine was curved into a C shape and he was pine coned. He was fine yesterday. 6 years and 4 months we had him

No i didn't Alex. It's in my amazon basket but i haven't bought it yet. Still reading Orb Sceptre Throne (Malazan Empire 4) at the moment and i have recently bought the traitor spy trilogy by trudi canavan so i have loads to read. I am looking forward to the forge of darkness but if i read it now i will be going nuts waiting for the next part :(

  14. Just went on to Amazon.co.uk to get prime and there isn't any. Checked ebay too. None in the UK. I have ordered some from aquatics online but that is the first time amazon and ebay say none in the UK. Should i be worried ?

That is really strange. Call Seachem UK and ask, perhaps?
