I feel like since the summer I've had a completely new start in life, in pretty much all things, and everything is working out really well for me, which after a rather disastrously stressful (for various reasons) last year of uni is a very welcome relief! I'm living in a new area, have a great little flat which is so much nicer than where I've been previously living, a new(ish - 7 months) relationship which I'm very very happy in, a new job working with great people and learning a lot, and healt
First of all, this is my first entry in my 'official' blog, but I've had a blog thread going for awhile that can be found here
I haven't been talking about my fish much lately because I have been so busy, and I've been dealing with a dog who wants to eat them, that I admit my involvement in the hobby has been pretty low.
But thankfully the dog is now ok with the goldfish, so I'm hoping to get things rolling again. I still only have one goldie - Penny the ranchu. She shares my 55 gallon with Fr

Long post so grab some coffee. And a comfortable chair. If you plan to read the whole thing.
Think Ill start with a little fish keeping history. At least what I can remember.
When I was about 8 or so my parents had a 55 gallon tank. Yep it was 55 gallons cause I asked later on when I got older. lol I remember they had an automatic feeder cause my grandparents lived a so far away that we flew there for two weeks every year so had to feed the fish.
I added the plants from the 6 gallon. Working on catching as many snails as I can from that tank and moving to 55 gallon.
Then shutting down that 6 gallon tank.
That puts me down to 3 tanks. Most likely wont be shutting any more down. But hope to put some back if/when we move to Tupalo, MS.
Daddy asked us when Cindy is gone would we move there with him. His mother is there and his brother plans to move their once his house sells.
