Awesome pictures, I like how you documented the move with pics spit.gif

Are those trash bags that they were in?! I was honestly wondering what kind of bag or container an Oscar would go in. I was wondering about how you would move an eel as well....( I saw a BIG mean looking eel at Big Al's, and I thought, hmmmm how would I get *that* home LOL)

And it looks like the bag is in a rubbermaid, for support?

I am glad that the Oscars are *home* and I will bet that they will be glad to be with you as well.

They are really neat looking fish.

very cool!!!

LOL! Thanks! Actually, it's a town garbage bag (they're color coded by bourough) and it's in the recycling bin! George STRONGLY objected to going in the bucket, so we asked our lfs people what we should do, and he said to just use a garbage bag. I have no idea how many gallons of water we put in there, but George is about a ten inch fish and Mud is not far behind. It worked out well though since he spent four hours in that bag with a battery operated bubbler and came out just fine. It's a 55 gallon tank, which really is the minimum for one oscar, kind of like the 10 gal rule of thumb for goldies. He's planning on upgrading when he gets back, so it'll be an interesting time!

Oscars are such finny looking fish! And I mean that in the best way possible! They look like they are trying to be all tough and they just come across as cute! Glad everything went well for your move!

LOL!!! Yes, that's an angel. He is the only one George hasn't eaten thus far. Brian tried putting other fish in there but George at them all. For some reason, he has left William alone. They are pals at this point and chase each other around the tank! And William will chase George! They def have a lot of personality, and as much as I hate to say this since I ADORE my goldies, they almost have more personality. I still [refer my babies though! But George makes for an interesting time! If he is feeling pouty, he will sulk more than any other fish I know. At least we have him taking food nicely from our fingers now. He used to almost try to take them off!! And we won't let him jump for food anymore, he's just too big. No one likes the idea of trying to hurridly pick him up off the floor if he misses on the way back down! No thanks!! Funny fish... smile.gif

Wow, congratulations on a successful move. The pictures were great biggrin.gif I sometimes think of what a nightmare it would be to have to move all of my tanks.
