I thought I'd try here first.

Does any one know what kind of water hardess Oscars tolerate? The building I moved into has has harder water than what he's living in now.

Will this affect him? Sorry that I don't have the numbers handy--but I do know they maxed the test kit ( Aquarium Pharm. ).

Any help would be great.

Do you have a testing kit?

He should be fine, just acclimate him to the new water as if adding him to a new tank! Since a large number of oscars are farm raised here in Florida they are pretty used to the harder water anyway!
