hello again
i have a small corner tank - around 6 imperial gallons - that is obviously too small for goldfish.
but i know i've read somewhere that you can keep some small tropical fish - like tetras or mountain minnows in an unheated tank - does anyone know if this is really true??
the tank is in a really warm room - so the temp never goes below 23 C - so its not that cold anyway. but i've only ever had coldwater fish - so i'm not 100% sure!
dont want to do anything cruel - so if anyone could advise me - or point me towards a good place for info - that would be cool.
i've tried looking - but only ever find info in regards to them being in heated set-ups??

minnows sound fine. see if you can rescue a dozen of them at petstores

really - that many!!
would love to do a little rescue session!! my comet was rescued from horrendous conditions 7 yrs ago - which makes her even more special!!
thanks for the input!

petstores sell them by the dozen. also those fish are so small I dont see why they can live fine in your tank. They dont seem to get over 1.5 inches either. also they may breed alot so see if you can get more room for their babies or just give the babies away to your friends
